Wooden Birthday Ring

A birthday ring consists of a wooden circle with holes representing each year of life.  Placing a candle and an ornament in the ring and then adding one each year is a physical representation of the flow of life. This makes an original and special christening present or first birthday present.

There are many ways to use the birthday ring:

• On a child's birthday, one candle is placed on the ring and the rest of the holes are filled with figures.
• Or, one candle and one figure are placed to represent each year. As the child grows older and candles outbalance the figures, the figures can be stood around the ring or inside the ring as the cancles fill the holes.
• Rings can also be used for seasonal decorations- for Easter & Advent.
